Rules for a short-lived, receive-only inbox
These Terms of Use explain the basic conditions for using Temporary Mail. By using the public inbox service, you agree to follow these terms and the rules of the websites you interact with.
What the service provides
Temporary Mail creates short-lived email addresses and displays incoming messages in a browser inbox. It is a receive-only service: it does not provide a permanent personal mailbox, send email on your behalf, or let you reply to messages. No personal email account is needed to create a public inbox.
The duration and controls shown for an inbox apply to that inbox. The service may change or remove features as it is maintained.
Use the service responsibly
Use Temporary Mail only for lawful, short-lived purposes and only where the other website permits a temporary address. Follow the terms and account requirements of each sender or website. Do not use the service to access accounts or information without permission, misrepresent who you are, bypass another site's technical restrictions, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
You are responsible for deciding whether a temporary address is appropriate for your task. Use an email account you control for important or confidential matters, or for any account you may need to recover later.
Inbox access and messages
Keep your inbox page, access link, and device private. Anyone who can access the active inbox session may be able to read its messages. Do not place sensitive information in a temporary inbox or rely on it as a private archive.
Messages and attachments come from external senders. Check the sender and context before following links or opening files. You are responsible for saving any information you need before deleting an inbox or allowing it to expire. Once an inbox expires or is deleted, it cannot be restored through this service.
Delivery and third-party services
The sender's systems and the mail provider assigned to an inbox control whether and when a message is delivered. Messages may be delayed, filtered, rejected, or unavailable, and Temporary Mail does not guarantee delivery. Some websites may decline temporary addresses; use an address that meets their requirements instead of trying to work around them.
Links in messages may lead to websites operated by others. Their services, terms, and privacy practices are separate from ours. We do not control those external sites or the contents of messages sent to an inbox.
Availability and limits
We work to keep the service available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical faults, provider outages, or other reasons. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a promise that every message will arrive or that an inbox will remain accessible beyond its displayed duration.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, Temporary Mail is not responsible for losses caused by relying on an expired inbox, a message that was not delivered, or content supplied by an outside sender. These terms do not remove consumer rights or other protections that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised when the service or its requirements change. The current version is published on this page. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
